So! I'm not sure of the yellow background. Do you think it's too bold? Maybe something a little softer? Also, the eyes are not quite symmetrical, ahaha...does that bother you? Other than that, I'm pretty OK withthe proportions. Open to suggestions, of course, but yeah, a little nervous. *shy*

I'm also thinking of doing another winter piece-- something mid-winter rather than late winter (technically plum blossoms bloom in February/March)...

To me, my name means that I'm always trying to see the best in people, to encourage them with a small smile or to quietly listen to what they have to say. I sort of smile unconsciously in real life, so I suppose I've always~ got a small smile on my face. So yeah, it's something I think of as "intrinsically me".
