Tom Riddle: Magic is Might. (Young Tom!!)

Tom Riddle must have been a charming little boy. In this picture, I imagine him to be....less than 14. Junior High School student age~~~ And for some reason he's crying. Poor thing.

He has also enchanted his pillow case to have the first generation of the Dark Mark on it. *Imagines the young thing doodling it in his notebooks or on scrap parchments....* which explains why, er, the pictures are simpler and Cute.

er, I didn't feel like cropping out the sketchpad of this one. In case you're curious, it's about 4 x 5 inches. I really ought to draw on a bigger pad, so I can actually get some details on the paper instead of going in and doing bits on the computer....

...but oh well. The hand is done on the computer, heavily referenced. Everything else is mostly copic marker, with a bit of guache paint thrown in for smooth detail, and then some texture brushes on top in PhotoShop for....everything. my usual "mix and match" PhotoShop-Real-Media thing.
